Hey Everybody! We're taking a break from my otherwise terribly stimulating journals to announce a MONSTER FIGHT!!!

How it started: Atomier and possibly UndeadDeviation were going to have a little contest.

Then, like a delicious malignancy it spread through the social lobes! Now we've got lots of people interested, so I'm redoing the journal to make things clearer. If this catches on, suggested we make an account specifically for this awesome trend. He also graciously suggested Anamolous Acumen as the name for the whole deal. We'll see how that goes!

Allright, the original proposed rules were as followed: 30 possible, 10 for monster, 10 for scientist/historical figure, 10 for misc. awesomeness. But it looks like if lots of people are joining, a far more intricate judging system might be required. More on that later-


But we'll still be needing judges. If any of you don't plan on entering, but are interested, note me and I'll start compiling a roster of possible judges.

And anybody is welcome to join. I'm guessing most of these will be pen and paper stuff, but sculpture or pixle art is fine too. The important thing to remember is it must include the two following things:

1. Monster - Mutant animal, abstract creature, even a robot (though the more organic the truer to the source!)

2. Historical Figure riding/interacting/teaming with Monster - This could be a scientist or any historical figure. Just to make sure we don't get repeats of these figures, note me with your preposed figure! (Use your best judgment here: Stephen Hawking would count, but Keanou Reeves doesn't).

*if you want it to be secret, just make sure you aren't taking anybody elses posted scientist. Surprises rock hard.

It starts NEXT Saturday, so send me a note before then. Your first pic should be up by NEXT weekend, and make sure to notify me! Woo!
